Omi-3 (Omega-3) is an essential fatty acid vital for human health that cannot be manufactured by the body and must be obtained from marine food sources. The most active Omega-3 fats are Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The body needs EPA to produce prostaglandin-E3 (PgE3), which performs numerous physiological functions including regulating blood pressure, blood platelets, water retention, and immune function.

No side effects in recommended dosages. Overdosage may cause mild nausea, upset stomach, fishy taste.

Drug Interactions: Does not interact with most medicines, but amlodipine, aspirin, and some low-level vitamins can interact with omega-3.
