Freego

Generic: Psyllium Husk (Ispaghula Husk)

Freego-Gel is a natural bulk-forming fiber supplement containing Psyllium Husk. When mixed with water, Psyllium absorbs water and forms a gel that increases stool bulk, softens stool, and promotes regular bowel movements. It helps relieve constipation and facilitates easier defecation. Psyllium may also help maintain healthy bowel function, support stool consistency, and reduce cholesterol levels as part of a healthy diet.

Composition & Ingredients

Each 5 g contains Psyllium Husk Dispersible Powder 3.5 g and other ingredients with required excipients.

Indications & Clinical Uses

Indicated for chronic constipation, irregular bowel movements, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), hemorrhoids or piles, and as a dietary fiber supplement for supporting healthy cholesterol levels.

Dosage & Administration

Usual dose: 1 spoonful 1–3 times daily with sufficient water or as directed by the registered physician. Adults and children over 12 years: 1 spoonful with water twice daily or as directed by the registered physician. Children 6–12 years: ½–1 spoonful with water according to age and body size, in the morning and at bedtime, or as directed by the registered physician. Children below 6 years: Not recommended unless specifically advised by a physician. Take with an additional glass of water. Continued use for 2–3 days may be required for optimal effect. Preferably take after meals and avoid taking immediately before bedtime. Drink immediately after mixing.
